How do I create the background and add special effects for my personal page?

How many songs can I post on my personal page?
There can be up to five song with a 12mb limit.

Can my songs be downloaded?
No! The music box/player was created for that exact purpose to upload YOUR music and not allow anyone to download your personal music or production.

Should I post my contact information?
That is strictly up to you. If a certain Artist and/or Label has a particular interest in you then you would have to post some sort of contact information so they may get in touch. You do not have to put your email address in the email address bar you can put another type of contact.

Where can I promote or give shout-outs?
You can comment and post any positive and trustworthy information on any members personal page which will not only allow that particular member to see that posting but anyone who views that page.

Can I post other artists material?
No! MusicONtrack.com in based on promoting and getting YOUR name recognized through YOUR art in music. You can not expect much to happen (but complications) by using someone else’s material in your favor. Be original and Let yourself be Heard!!

What if I do not have my music recorded?
Music is a major factor of having any kind of success of being heard on MusicONtrack.com. The only suggestions that we can offer is getting yourself recorded by any means necessary and it does not have to be the most expensive way either. Use the comment feature on individual members pages for producer suggestions or solutions.

What if I am a new Artist, Producer, DJ, Record Label..etc and do not have artists or original music?
We suggest to use the comment feature on each members page for additional resources and information. To build any type of recognition you should probably have original music or your Art (songwriter, DJ, Producer..etc) can be portrayed through other artists on your personal page. Gain Credibility and remember you may be looking for someone who’s looking for you. (artists and producers go hand and hand.....etc)

What other material or information should I post on my personal page?
That depends on how much you want viewers and/or members to know. Post only the necessary and don’t forget to be original.

Can I change my personal background and music?
Yes! At any time you desire you may change, modify, and rearrange your own material.

Can I have more than one personal page?
Yes! If you have more than one field in music and/or have an Indie Record Label in progress you may have an extra personal page to promote yourself the best way necessary. Fill in later!!!!!!!

As a member can I post an Ad or Promote on a Major banner throughout MusicONtrack.com?
Yes! It is actually a great way to get viewers and/or members to go directly to your personal page.
A banner submitted is distributed throughout the website therefore anybody who views your banner and clicks on it can see any information you have on your personal page. In order to purchase and create on an open banner go to the Advertise link on the homepage.

How do I change my password or email address?
Edit my profile to change password and for a forgotten username or password simply click the “forgot password on the homepage and follow the directions.

Why can I NOT set my profile to private?
Setting your profile to private would defeat the purpose of gaining credibility and recognition by allowing viewers to witness and listen to your Art in music. Therefore we do not offer a private profile as an option.

MusicONtrack.com may filter out any potential malicious coding, including Javascript.

Why can’t I upload my music?
Make sure that the file format of the songs are MP3 because the player will not accept: m4a, wma, mpeg, acc ...etc. You must covert the file format to MP3 by going to a Music Resource such as iTunes where they have a built in converter to encode any file format to an MP3. Most converters are set on aac so be sure before encoding that the converter is set to MP3.

A: MusicONtrack.com has eliminated particular third parties which now allow the seller to keep more of their earnings. MusicONtrack charges the lowest fees based on our competitors, You Keep more of your Money! The Seller keeps 80% of all transactions in the MOT music store, which includes: the bandwidth, storage, licensing, payment management costs, customer service, Gateway fees… etc. You Keep 80% of all transactions unless otherwise noted.

Q: Who handles accounting and Financing?

A: MusicONtrack handles the MOT Store back end and collects money from vendors who are selling their content, providing you with the ability to track your sales purchased on MOT, and pays you when the content is sold.

Q: How often do I get paid by MusicONtrack?

A: You, the rights holder, will be paid after you have earned $20 or more and MusicONtrack has received verified payments for the product sold. MusicONtrack will either deposit your sales dollars or mail verified checks on a monthly basis into the bank account or mailing address you provide us (depending on amount of funds earned will distinguish direct deposit or Verified mailed check).
Note: If your earnings do not exceed $20, the balance will be rolled over to the following months until you reach the $20 minimum.

I just purchased audio from Music On Track. How do I retrieve my purchases?
After you purcahse your audio from MOT, your music will be able to be downloaded from the "My Downloads" panel on your MOT homepage. The "My Downloads" pages is going to display every audio file that you have purchased from MOT. To download your audio, right-click (Windows) or apple-click (Mac) where it says download and choose to 'Save Link As'. Save the audio to wherever you store you audio on you computer. An example of this would be C:\Documents and Settings\Kirby Grines\My Documents\My Music. Your file is now ready to be played! If you would like import your audio into your favorite music program such as iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc...please reference those programs Help menus.
